Our Story

South Newman Primary School’s clear focus is to ensure that we assist your children to achieve the best possible Literacy and Numeracy outcomes as well as success in all other learning areas.

Your children have the opportunity to participate in a range of specialist areas to complement the core learning curriculum. The school offers specialist programs in Design & Technology, Art, Science and Physical Education. At our school, health and well-being is important to us, we have a full time Student Support Officer who, along with all our staff, creates a safe, easy going and welcoming space to be apart of.

Our dedicated teaching and support staff are constantly learning and reflecting on their practice to provide the best possible outcomes. We are always striving to better our education to meet the needs of your child’s education.

South Newman Primary School is a Western Australian Independent Public School in which parents and community members are seen as partners and play an important role in the school. Our school provides a range of educational opportunities and experiences for approximately 450 students from Kindergarten to Year Six. The school staff work together as a team to make a positive contribution to the effective operation of the school.
