Our School - About Us

South Newman Primary School is a Western Australian Independent Public School in which parents and community members are seen as partners and play an important role in the school. Our school provides a range of educational opportunities and experiences for approximately 450 students from Kindergarten to Year six. The school staff work together as a team to make a positive contribution to the effective operation of the school.

Our clear focus is, and will always be, to ensure that we assist students to achieve the best possible Literacy and Numeracy outcomes as well as success in all other learning areas.

The students have the opportunity to participate in a range of specialist areas to complement the core learning curriculum. The school offers specialist programs in Music, Art, Science and Physical Education.
